Who qualifies for the Colorado eBike Tax Credit?
- Anyone who lives in Colorado and purchases a qualified e-bike from a participating retailer is eligible for the $225 Colorado eBike Tax Credit (limited to one discount per person per year).
- At Bear Trail Bikes, we require proof of Colorado residency both at the time of payment and again at pickup to verify eligibility for the state credit. Acceptable documents include a valid Colorado ID, recent utility bill, lease agreement, or any other document dated within the last three months showing a Colorado address.

What if I don't qualify for the tax credit?
If you’re not a Colorado resident or don’t qualify for the state’s e-bike tax credit, you simply won’t receive the $225 discount. In that case, the full bike price applies at checkout.
